Rewinding... I found out about the baby in September while Steve was in California hamming it up with some sustainability committee folks. I kept it a secret until he returned home where he unwrapped his "welcome home" gift, a book called "The Guys Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth." After the inital shock wore off, he called his mom, as seen in the second photo.
This was a happy day for all of us. To see this picture with Steve's expression knowing he was talking to me is marvelous. Thanks for sharing it this way!
